 Yes We Can Initiative to be Unveiled in Abuja

The official unveiling ceremony of the Yes We Can Initiative is slated to be held at the merit house, Maitama, Abuja on 27th December, 2025. According to the National Coordinator, Dr Bala Joshua, the ceremony will play host to Government Officials, Captains of industries, Members of the Diplomatic Corps, Civil Society Organizations, Nigerian Students and conscious Youth.

He opines that the Yes We Can Initiative is a movement of like-minded Nigerians that cut across partisan affiliation, it is a pressure group that is blended with touch of credibility, he stated. He added that for the country to develop and attain lasting growth, Nigerians should change from embracing bad government simply because of partisan affiliation and financial inducement. "transactional politics will not take us anywhere, it is rather the bane of the country's perpetual underdevelopment" 

The Yes We Can Initiative has structure in all the states of the federation, including FCT. It's presence also spread across Senatorial Districts, Local Government Areas, down to the Ward level. The organization is positioned to use it's wide spread network to mobilize and educate Nigerians on leadership reorientation to re-fix the country  to the Nigeria of our collective dream, by electing credible leaders into public offices.

One of the cardinal agenda of the Yes We Can Initiative is to garner mass support for any credible political candidates across the country. The activities of the organization is devoid of religious, partisan and ethnic biases.

The event will feature media chat and interaction.

The vision of the Initiative s to build a united and progressive Nigeria where every citizen—especially youth and women—can thrive, participate in governance, and lead transformational change.

The Yes We Can Initiative is on a mission to mobilize, empower, and inspire Nigerians to become active stakeholders in nation-building through political awareness, civic advocacy, inclusive leadership, and social accountability.
